Nuggets (Small)

These smaller-size nuggets became the miners' bread and butter ( literally! These were the smallest size nuggets the original 49'ers thought worth keeping! As the rush boomed, they became much more important. As inflation set in, a miner might have to give twenty of these for a hot bath and breakfast! You may find a better use, like a special charm for a loving friend.

These specimens weigh 1 to 2 grams and no two are alike, (dime shown for size comparison). Each is selected for its unique character. Each comes in a fine leather gold rush pouch.
